MIÄ Shirt Design

In Southeastern Finland dialect, I is not “minä” or “mä” but MIÄ. Miä is only used in Southeastern Finland so it really encapsulates the spirit of the area.

I designed a MIÄ-shirt for the creative collective Volat Oy, that wanted to make a tribute to local dialects and roots. As a part of the marketing campaign, I also created a set of graphics and statements in Mikkeli dialect, and directed a photoshoot in collaboration with Anna-Katri Hänninen. The shirt was launched in late 2020 and the reception was great with hundreds of shirts sold so far!
